The CGI seems to have gotten worse too, there are scenes where it looks like I'm watching an animated movie. However we're kinda reverting to mindless shooting however there is some interesting hand to hand and melee choreography the editing of those scenes are beyond atrocious with more cuts per scene than Resident Evil: Final Chapter.

That's right most of the movie spends time on action. However to my surprise the movie commits one of the biggest sins you could do when you're packing such a cast. It's just a difference between getting everything wrong and getting 99% wrong so let's get this review going.īlood wars has quite a cast, a lot of popular actors such as Theo James, Lara Pulver and Bradley James including a lot of Game of Thrones actors such as Charles Dance, James Faulkner and Tobias Menzies. However I feel like this one is just slightly better than the 4th movie, however its still one of the worst of the franchise, make no mistake.

The 4th movie reviewed yesterday was a particularly low point so going into this movie expecting even lower was not a nice feeling.

However this turned out not to be the case as with each movie the series lost more and more of its defining features, succumbing more and more into generic action and poor writing until it was near unrecognizable from its starting point. The first 2 movies weren't masterpieces, were hardly good I'd argue but were interesting and they had their strengths such as really well done practical effects, atmosphere and a well put together world lore.
